Hi

I AM NEW TO THE NET APP , CAN ANY ONE TELL ME ABOUT HOW TO CHECK THE IOPS IN NETAPP ONCOMMAND SYSYEM MANAGER  GUI , BECAUSE WE HAVE SOME PRFORMENCE ISSUES SO EVERYTIME THEY ARE ASKING ABOUT THE IOPS

You may want to consider re-entering this again, subject line has IPOs instead IOPS.

You also have NETAPP INTAP GUI, I assume you meant NetApp Ontap GUI.

I don't know which GUI you are referring and are you running 7mode or cDOT?

sorry for that , anyway i want to know about NETAPP ONTAP 7 MODE , in that i want to know about IOPS  and also major problems we are getting day by day with solutions

presently we are using netappa on command system manager 2.0 , present model is NetApp Release 8.1.2 7-Mode so in this can we check iops .

Hi naresh,

There is no way to monitor disk IOPS from the system manager. By using performance advisor, you can view it in graphical way and drill down to the aggregate level which will give you aggregate's  iops and top disk-busy %.

when we raise a case with netapp what are logs they are asking , i heard  about prefstat logs

we have one tool  that is NetApp_SupportTool_v103x.exe its GUI tool , is it enough for that.
