Local pre/post-processing scripts with OSSV & Protection Manager

Hello,

Referring to http://communities.netapp.com/message/14010#14010

IHAC who manages his OSSV relations with Protection Manager and would like to execute a script local to the host at each OSSV backup.

The "dfpm policy node set" command allows to use a specific script for each node, but is is executed on the DFM host, and it seems not possible to have the DFM scripts connect to the OSSV hosts (W2K & W2K3 in that case).

Any idea for a workaround ?

Is it planned in the future to be able to run a local,host script from a Protection Manager policy ?

Hello Cyril,

As Workaround,

- You can probably configure RSH access on windows, Make remote calls from the dfm host to execute your script there.
