We need to move our DFM server from 2003 standard to 2008 Enterprise. I have DFM installed and ready to go. My question is, What is the best way to move the database? We use dfm for not only monitoring and alerting but also as our RBAC contolled backups in our Exchange environment. Will simply creating a backup then importing the backup on the new server move all of our RBAC info? Custom reports, etc...? Any help would be appreciated.
