NDMP back-up to tape integration in Protection Manager

Is there any chance SnapMirror-to-tape or an other NetApp way of NDMP dump to tape will be integrated in Protection Manager?

In most user cases an tertair model of back-up to a remote site and create (monthly) copies to tape is still desireable.

E.g. the following back-up policy: Back-up, the mirror to tape

Primary data -> backup -> mirror to tape

Several customers have integrated Protection Manager with tape backup utilities (e.g. NetBackup) using scripts developed by Rapid Response Engineering (RRE).  There are no plans to directly integrate ProtMgr with tape devices, but we do have requests to make some changes so that integrating with tape works somewhat better.
