OSSV Protection Manager - which view shows me protected folders

Hi colleagues,

what is the easiest way to see which folders from my windows host are being backuped with OSSV (without checking with snapvault on the console)?

I need to see something like:

protected:

host1: c:/windwos

host2: c:/data

The customer wants an easy view on "protected directories" of his Hosts (in PM)

Thanks,

Arda

Hi Arda,

I think there are two ways you can achive this: from DFM WebUI and dfbm report:

1. From DFM WebUI:

Navigate to Control Center>Report>Custom:

Under the Base Catalog section select "PrimaryDirectory", select the fields you are intrested in the report & click on create. This will generate the report for the all the primary directories snavaulted. However if you are only interested in OSSV then you can use following 2nd approach.

2. DFBM report:

From command line on OnCommand server run following command:

[root@oncommand ~]# dfbm report primary-hosts-open-system

ID:                        417

Primary System:            lnxserver1

Primary Directories:       lnxserver1:/root/my_dir

NDMP Password:             ******

NDMP User:                 root

NDMP Port:

Max Active Data Transfers:

[root@oncommand ~]#
