OnCommand & Sybase

Hi all,

Apparently, you can install the Sybase DB on a LUN FC or iSCSI... & not on a NFS share...

what about if we install DFM in NFS Datastore, do we still need to mount a LUN ?

- even if we are on a 10GbE network?

- even if have setup a failover DB ?

thanks for your help

Hi,

If you are using "NFS Datastore" added to esx server, then created a VM under the datastore, then definitely OnCommand is supported.

We dont support if you are mapping the NFS mounts, directly into the Linux box.
