Options for checking IP vs /etc/rc config?

Hi All

Does the capability exist to provide vfiler / ifconfig -a / /etc/rc configuration validation in OnCommand (Either Core or System Manager)?

Other than installing Config Advisor (another tool!) or using the CLI, is there another way to do it?

System Manager 2.1 provides a tool to check the "running config" against what's written in /etc/rc and /etc/hosts files.

This helps to identify mis-configurations that would lead to un-availability during takeover or reboot of the controller.

It's not a "continuous" check though, it's executed on-demand.

The same can be done using the Config Management Feature of OnCommand Unified Manager.
