Port c0a auto-unknown-enabling

Hi Guys,

I have Netapp Dual controller 3210, I checked through ifconfig -a and observed the message "auto-unknown-enabling" on c0a port and when i checked from System Manager for c0a for the status is Enabled - Media Down.  Just want to know what does this mean. is it for auto-negotiation for HA between the two c0a and c0b ports?
