Problems to connect to my Netapps from VPN or a remote office in my company


Hola Folks !

I 'm having serious problems to connect since when we installed the Netapp in 2 office in our company. Normally i need to connect remotly to another machine desktop in the same site of the netapp to enter and use the equipment. I cannot connect using VPN or from my office in another city. This using System Manager 2.0.1, 2.0.2 even 3.0. With SSH i can connect using nas_bmc port.

I will like to know what can we check to solve this issue.

Are you having trouble connecting to another machine via RDP protocol,

or having trouble connecting with System Manager to a NetApp storage device?

Seems like you have two issues?



As long as you can ping the controller from the VPN, and you can establish a connexion to port 80 or 443 it should be fine
