Resync snapmirror connection in DFM

Hi,

I've got a question about DFM relationships. When I did create a connection with protection manager.

It was only a snapmirror and did it well. In cli unfortunately  I quiesced and breaked this connection for a lunclone on DR site.

When I tried to resync, it failed with error messages (missing snap mirror.conf entry).

How could I resync this connection without reinitialize the whole volume?

Ok I find it.

dfdrm mirror resync ID did the same as in cli snapmirror resync

Hi

The dfdrm cli are basically wrapper over snapmirror cli. So all you could do with cli can be done with dfdrm.

After i've got one further problem. My Protection Policy was local backup, DR mirror to secondary and Snapvault from DR mirror volume.

And when I resync the broken snapmirror connection with dfdrm, its delete the snapvault base snapshot from snapmirrored volume, so I had to reinitialize the snapvault relationship:(

Hi Zoltan,

     Looks like the base snapshot of the SV was a locked snapshot that got deleted due to resync.
