Operations manager does have the capability to discover the firmware version of the controller in OCR. I've also attached a screenshot: Go to the top of the page and click "create custom report" and you'll be brought to the menu you see in the attached picture. However, I do not believe Operations Manager is able to identify shelf type. I will leave this question open to anyone else who might have an answer to that.
