I've just done my first install of a cDOT 8.2 simulator on my win7 corp laptop with VMware player and everything works well except for one odd thing
The node simply fails when sending an snmp reply, so things like discovery on system manager simply doesnt work
snmp.agent.resp.failed: Could not send response to host : 192.168.112.1 : reason : Failure could be due to either DNS/gateway misconfiguration or t...
snmp.agent.resp.failed

This message occurs when the SNMP daemon attempts to send a response, and the attempt fails.
Check your network configuration, primarily the DNS and gateway setup. The SNMP send response might also fail if a takeover/giveback was in progress or a forced reboot was performed
This seems a little odd, given that the 192.168.112 subnet is the Vmnet8 network (the NAT network),

So it's not likely to be a routing issue, and I cant see why it would be wanting to do a DNS lookup at either end.
It isnt urgent, but I'd appreciate any thoughts the brains trust might have, if neccesary I'll set up hosts tables on my laptop and the cluster, but I wouldnt have thought that would be neccesary.
