Snapshot sizes

Hi, 

I'm looking for clarity in regards to true snapshot sizes.

Looking in a putty session at snapshots from a couple of years ago, their sizes are larger than what is shown in AQUIM for the restore of that snapshot. Which is the true size?

Hello,

in SSH session wath's your command ?

You can see the foot print of snapshot or the "size" of the data inside

In AISUM, @ restore place, you will see the footprint of snapshoot after restore

And finaly the space used for a restore can depend if you restor in place overwrite the actual volume or restore by create a new volume

Waht's your need ?
