WFA Create SnapVault for Volumes NOT Qtrees

Hi all,

I'm looking for the command to set up a snapvault between primary volume and secondary volume on 7-Mode systems.

The certified command "Create SnapVault" works only based on Qtrees.

Has anyone already written this command?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

In 7-mode snapvault is Only qtree based if you want to manage it via OCUM Protection manager.

If not, you can do vol/ - destination qtree

If you do NOT have any qtrees, you can use /-  to /-

^^

In addition, in cDOT this has now become volume based with XDP replication, but thats another whole animal at this point

Hi JGPSHNTAP,

I'm sorry but your suggestion was not the solution for my problem.
In the command "Create SnapVault" I tried to use the finder for "primary qtree".

"Select one Qtree by its natural key"

Qtree Name: '/-'
Array IP: create_nfs_volume_existing_vfiler.array.ip
Volume Name: create_nfs_volume_existing_vfiler.name

Preview check:
Failed to resolve expression 'null'Location: 'Create SnapVault' command > 'SnapVault' tab > 'snapvault_existing_nfs' variable > 'primary_qtree' property

Any idea what's my fault?

Thanks,
Chris
