Hello.

After i movede a primary volume from node1 to node2 , i recreated the baseline to the destination (node5)

Here is the relationship:

naitsede02:/vol/vol_hq__mail_05/qtree_hq__mail_nlm               naitsede05:/vol/repl_hq__mail_05/qtree_hq__mail_nlm               Snapvaulted93:13:19   Transferring  (20 GB done)

here are the relationships for other similar volumes..:

naitsede01:/vol/vol_hq__mail_01/qtree_hq__mail_bas               naitsede05:/vol/repl_hq__mail_01/qtree_hq__mail_bas               Snapvaulted02:17:48   Idle
naitsede01:/vol/vol_hq__mail_02/qtree_hq__mail_mid               naitsede05:/vol/repl_hq__mail_02/qtree_hq__mail_mid               Snapvaulted107:16:59  Transferring  (53 GB done)
naitsede02:/vol/vol_hq__mail_03/qtree_hq__mail_std              naitsede05:/vol/repl_hq__mail_03/qtree_hq__mail_std               Uninitialized  -      Transferring  (12 GB done)
naitsede01:/vol/vol_hq__mail_04/qtree_hq__mail_etms              naitsede05:/vol/repl_hq__mail_04/qtree_hq__mail_etms              Snapvaulted00:53:49   Idle
naitsede02:/vol/vol_hq__mail_05/qtree_hq__mail_nlm               naitsede05:/vol/repl_hq__mail_05/qtree_hq__mail_nlm               Snapvaulted93:13:19   Transferring  (20 GB do

MISSED PRIMARY DIRECTORIES !!!

There is a "deleted relationship" with same secondary:

C:\Documents and Settings\s.tedeschi>dfpm relationship list -a|findstr mail_05

          20758 snapvault                     0                      naitsede01:/vol_hq__mail_05/-            naitsede05:/repl_hq__mail_05/mail05      Yes

          23275 snapvault                     0                      naitsede01:/vol_hq__mail_05/qtree_hq__mail_lrg naitsede05:/repl_hq__mail_05/qtree_hq__mail_lrg Yes

          23276 snapvault                     0                      naitsede01:/vol_hq__mail_05/qtree_hq__mail_nlm naitsede05:/repl_hq__mail_05/qtree_hq__mail_nlm Yes

  LANGROUP\s.tedeschi

          26649 volume_snapmirror         23413 SnapMgr_Exchange_W8ITEXCHMBX01 naitsede05:/repl_hq__mail_05             naitsleo3:/dr_hq__mail_05                No

          33443 volume_snapmirror             0                      naitsede01:/vol_hq__mail_05_old          naitsede02:/vol_hq__mail_05              Yes

The problem is the "deleted relationship"???

How do i delete the "delete relationship"? (it seems crazy delete something already deleted!!!)

Why dfm doesn't recognize the existing relationship (i shoud see in  "external relationships" from the GUI)

many thanks,

Mauro Cesarano

Hi Mauro,

What version of OCUM are you running ? What was the previous relationship like ? Are they managed by Protection manager or Backup Manager ?

Found the solutions today and post it here for others with the same problem :

dfbm primary dir add <secondaryfiler>:/<secondaryvol> <primaryfiler>:/<primaryvol>/<primaryqtree>

then they come available again as External Relationship. Import them in the dataset and back in business.
