cannot get the snapdrive working in my test environment:
- vmware fusion 5.0.3
- ontap sim 8.12 7 Mode
- DFM on Command 5.1 @ Oracle Linux (Linux dfm 2.6.32-300.39.4.el5uek64 Bit)
- installed 3g_utils and host utilities @ Linuxhost (netapp_linux_host_utilities-6-1.x86_64.rpm)
- created and mapped a LUN via System Manager @ ontap7 sim
- started iscsci and mounted the lun @ linuxhost lvm (no partition, separate Volume Group)
- installed snapdrive configured root user to ontap7 and dfm server (netapp.snapdrive.linux_4_2.rpm)
- moved the datastore to LUN located fs /DDFMdata
2a. second try successfully created a fs,LUN.iGroup with # snapdrive storage wizard create
6. changed datastore location to the new LUN based fs with # dfm datastore setup /DFMdata
what have i done wrong, or do have to do some additional configuration tasks !?
