Hi Experts,
Starting with version 17.1, E-series SANtricity provides secure erasure of disk data. I want to know what the specific operation of this function is and how to safely erase data? Is there a difference in the way it is implemented compared to ONTAP's Sanitize function?
Many Thanks.

HI @chenhui ,
This is for non-FDE drives
- From SANtricity System Manager 11.71, a new sanitize (erase) capability is added for non-FDE drives.
You can refer to document (Page 12 onwards)- https://www.netapp.com/pdf.html?item=/media/17162-tr4474.pdf
