You are not required to add more virtual tape or libraries when you add storage. The VTL will automatically start using the extra storage with your existing configuration.

If you add more shelve , the only configuration you need to do is RAID groups .

when you make new raid group , the best practice is order the graphical rack view the VTL ok because if you experiment a issue whit one disk will be more easy to find the disk to replace .
