Indexing tme of SMMOSS

How much time to make index does it take?

Please teach when there is a standard.

(ex. item-level / 110,000items / 50GB SQL DB  1hour)

I have seen information that states that its roughly 30-40GB an hour although I have not tested this myself

Do I only have to make two or more media servers when I want to make the index of the 4TB database ?

If you have just one web application with a 4TB database then having 2 media servers will not help since the backup indexing task cannot be load-balanced across multiple media servers.
