Smsql 5.0.0.385

Snapdrive 6.0.2.2416

NetApp Release 7.2.6.1:

SQL Server 9.0.3042 (2005)

I am getting an error when verifying my snapshot.  The DBCC gets through 6 databases, then tries mounting the seventh snapshot as a temporal LUN.

All databases are in the same volume.  The first 6 databases are in separate LUNs for recovery reasons.  The next 5 databases, which fail, share a LUN and drive letter.

I attached the entire log, but cut out a snippet that shows the successful unmounting of the previous drive, and the failure to mount the new drive.

This looks more like a connectivity issue or an issue with the HUK. I would suggest that you open a case with NetApp Support.

Thank you for your input.  Unfortunately, I don't think this is the solution.  The article you pointed me to is using vmware.  I am not using vmware.

It is interresting that the DBCC fails to mount LUNs almost every night, but the LUN it fails on is random.  There are a few nights where the LUN mount does not fail at all, and it works.
