SnapCenter Backup Report - Registering Backup failed.

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help me please as I am struggling to find the awnser on the internet.

One of my DataStore VSC backups is failing on Registering Backup, the folowing error is displayed;

Registering Backup 19:00:10 0.00:00:25

Transaction (Process ID 57) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been

chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.

Has anyone encountered this before, if so - is it fixable and is it fixable without having to recreate backup job and policy again?

Is there multiple backup job kick at the same time.

The error you posted looks like multiple backup job registration kicked at the same time. Just check if you have any policy with the schedule at the same time.
