Where can you find housekeeping tasks in SnapCenter

Where can you find the housekeeping tasks in SnapCenter version 5 & 6 (on Windows). Several KB articles refers to Windows Tasks Scheduler, but that seems to a long time ago.

You can also create a schedule using powershell and the syntax presented in the KB article but there is no apparent way to verify that the schedule is actually there, or if you have multiple entries of the same housekeeping task.

Example of a housekeeping task: SnapCenter_RemoveSecondaryBackup

Thank you for the update.

Any reason this is not in the documentation?

How can I run this as a rest-api command?

Cheers,

Jens

Hi Jens,

Here is the complete details:

Using SnapCenter UI you shall check the schedules, refer to the below for details:

https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/snapcenter/admin/concept_monitor_jobs_schedules_events_and_logs.html#monitor-schedules

Rest API details refer below:

I was looking for housekeeping tasks not host backup tasks.

When or if a cmdlet like Invoke-SmPrimaryBackupsExistenceCheck is run.
From the initial question about the cleanup of non-existing secondary snapshots the kb article is not up to date. https://kb.netapp.com/data-mgmt/SnapCenter/SC_KBs/How_to_re-schedule_the_SnapCenter_Remove_Secondary_Backup_job

If I run this command then I cannot find it in Windows TaskScheduler or using the cmdlet Get-smReportSchedule
