Cloud Insights - is it possible to montior a subset of virtual machine in vCenter?

Using Cloud Insights, is it possible to collect only a subset of virtual machines managed by Virtual Center?

The documentation https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/cloudinsights/task_dc_vmware.html#advanced-configuration

seems to indicate you can create a filter list, based on CLUSTER, DATACENTER, or ESX HOST.

Does this mean it's possble to exclude virtual machines based on the above, but nothing more granualar like a VM Folder or an explicit list of virtual machines?

The licensing for Cloud Insights quickly adds up with lots of VMs, and not all may need monitoring.

That is correct. It's possible to exclude virtual machines only based on the filter list by cluster, datacenter or esx host (one of the three). A more granular exclusion of VM's is not possible at this time. A practical approach could be to move vm's that are to be excluded to a dedicated host or cluster or one that is to be excluded anyway.
