The DII E-E-Series REST collector is going to be enhanced with new logs capabilities in the weeks to come. This new capability will be enabled automatically when we deploy the new hotness. You will be able to create log monitor alerts, etc as you may have come to expect via our existing logs capabilities in some of our other collectors like Ontap, Isilon/PowerScale REST, VMware, StorageGrid, etc.

This is also a good time to reconsider which E-Series data collector type you are using - our legacy E-Series API collector is NOT being enhanced with a logs package, so if your E-Series hardware is REST API capable, you should move to the E-Series REST API collector type - you can safely do this by simply creating new E-Series REST collectors, and once they are successful, delete the E-Series Santricity API type collectors for the respective arrays to avoid duplicative collection
