Remove Kubernetes Cluster from Cloud Insights

Team,

I managed to add a couple of Kubernetes Clusters (on-prem as well as GCP via NKS) to Cloud Insights. However, I have not found any documentation on how to remove them from the inventory.

Any help or hint highly appreciated!

Thanks,

Adrian

Hi Adrian, collectors added from the Services are Telegraf collectors and are disconnected from the tenant by removing the agent from the K8s in your particular case. Telegraf collector information and metrics will stay in Cloud Insights history for 90 days and then are aged out, so you will see their information for that duration of time. Does this help?

Sorry, I was 100% sure having responded to this...

Yes and no. Thanks for your answer. I now understand the background, but still not sure, if I want an inactive or in this case even non-existent system to be presented in Cloud Insights. I can remove other aquisition units as well so why not Kubernetes clusters?

I don't to argue or complain, but I would be interested, if something like this is planned for the future.

Thanks,

Adrian
