Hi,
I have a NETAPP 3250 running Clustered Ontap 8.2 and has a big CIFS share
I have an aggragte of 60 TB and want to increase it tot 70TB. Afterwards, i want to increase the corresponding volume to from 60 TB to 70 TB as well. The volume is a CIFS share.
Can i just do this online using the GUI ? I looks like. Is the filesystem automatically resized as well ?
Rgds,
johan

Hi,
Is that an infinite volume?, the https://hwu.netapp.com/ says the volume size limit as 50TB

If i understand well it is a Flexvol but it is already 60TB now. So, 50 TB cannot be the limit. I once saw a document where 70TB was mentionned for NETAPP 3250. My question: can i just resize the aggrgate and the volume online without downtime ? And does the filesystem grow automatically ?
Rgds,
Johan

Hello,
My bad, I looked for FAS 3240, you are right about the limit and yes you can resize using the resize wizard online
Thanks
