Can OnTap back up shares via NDMP to the other File system disks not FAS STORAGE?

Without using any additional backup software. , Either via FC or Ethernet?

For instance, can I use ndmpcopy to  backup FAS shares to any remote NFS FS, as a valid backup method?

As far as I know NDMPCOPY is only between controllers.
