Need to backup Snapshots from SMHV to BackupExec

I have recently been working with SnapManager for Hyper-V but was hoping to get some information on SnapDrive scripts or powershell commands so we can mount the snapshots into Backup Exec.

Basically I just want to run a script that picks up the latest snapshot, mounts it as a drive letter then Backup Exec can come and do it’s stuff.

The problem I see is dealing with the naming convention used in SnapManager for Hyper-V where a date gets added and a host name.  I need to somehow rename this, mount it, backup, then rename it back so that SnapManager would still recognise it.

Any ideas would be much appreciated

Cheers

Ady
