we have a need to take snapshots on SQL host which have cluster configured with three nodes. it worked fine with replication. After we added a fourth node to the cluster, the snapshots failed to take on schedule with errors "No SQL resource is discovered on the host", "An error occurred while retrieving the cluster resources of type 'Network Name' The RPC server is unavailable. ".
does anyone else ever had same issue? Please share your experience.
1). we only configured plugin on one host, do we have to add all four SQL hosts to the SnapCenter?
2). we configured to backup SQL instance from one host.

Hello @FelixZhou
You can add a host and install the plug-in packages either for an individual host or for a cluster. If you are
installing the plug-ins on a cluster or Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC), the plug-ins are installed on
all of the nodes of the cluster. Since you just add an extra node to the SQL cluster, you would need to either refresh the host or re-add the extra host that was just added. Additional info are listed below regarding managing hosts:
https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/snapcenter/admin/concept_manage_hosts.html
Hope this answer your question.
Thanks
