Netapp and Filenet

We are running Filenet image services using a optical jukebox.

We want to move off the jukebox and onto netapp mag disk.

What documentation I have found seems to imply that we will need to install snapdrive and the host adapter kit.

I presume the host adapter kit referred to is the part that allows aix to talk to the netapp.

Is Snapdrive a requirement to use the netapp as a MSAR ?.
