From what I see in the admin manual, it is possible to migrate data onto NetApp storage with SMSQL.
Is it a "move" operation (source is deleted), or a "copy" operation (source remains intact)?
I saw a sentence that say you can specify whether to delete the source, but most references indicate a "move" only.
Thanks
Walt

Hi Walt,
You can definitely tick the relevant box, so the source database files won't get deleted.
I actually never tried this, so not 100% sure, but I think the original database will be dismounted though (you can't have two databases with the same name under the same instance of SQL).

Radek
