Hello all,
Will I have any issues running SMSQL 7.2.1 with a SQL2016 instance?
Any idea when SQL2016 will be "officially supported"?
Thanks!
Jeff

Hi,
SnapManager 7.2.2 for Microsoft SQL Server supports only 64-bit platforms, and this release supports Microsoft SQL Server 2016.

Hello,
What about SQL2017 instance and SMSQL 7.2.2?

The SQL 2017 is not yet supported as per the matrix. SQL 2016 is supported.

Just that you folks are aware, SMSQL 7.2.1, 7.2.2 have entered limited support beginning 2-Apr-18. Limited support will end 1-year from the above date and move to a self-service post that 30-Mar-2019. Refer the CPC here: https://mysupport.netapp.com/info/communications/ECMLP2843910.html
Those versions will not undergo qualification with newer MS-SQL releases.
