Timed backups not running from SnapCenter Plug-In for VMware vSphere

Have recently updated SnapCenter Plug-In for VMware vSphere to v4.6 but the timed backups that usually run early morning are not triggering but they can be run manually without any issues so doesn't seem to be related to not being able to see storage after the upgrade.

Has anybody else had this issue and would re-creating the backups help ?

Ok.

Try the steps in this order:

1) In GUI choose Resource Groups : Highlight the RG and choose Suspend Resource Group

2) Recreate RG with the same policy and schedule

3) Restart the scheduler service (see Additional Information in kb below)

Caution: Do not delete the RG if you want to keep the snapshots on the primary volume(s) as deleting it will also remove these snapshots.

Steps covered in this kb:

Yes, I have seen the issue before with other plug-ins (ex- sql), I remember going to the 'Windows Task Scheduler', to fix it. But, for SCV I think all jobs are created as cron jobs on the SCV appliance.

Could you check this kb, this might be an issue.
SCV scheduled jobs do not trigger at all:

Thanks.

I had checked NTP settings and timezone is correct, also checked cron and the service is active.
