A ways back I found a way to modify the console prompt within the CLI of the NetApp VLT (5.6 or 6.0.1).
--For the life of me I cannot remember or find that command, but know it exists.
Please help!

Hi Mark,
The command to change the CLI prompt is:
display set_prompt <use_hostname|use_default>
So you can change the prompt to be the hostname (set in the Miscellaneous -> Network Setup menu) or the default "VTL>" prompt. You can also look at the CLI command reference found on the NOW site for more information:
http://now.netapp.com/NOW/knowledge/docs/vtl/562/pdfs/vtl/cmdref.pdf
This was introduced in v5.6.2 and is also available in v6.0.3
Thanks,
sam
