whenever i resize a volume in netapp and then try top expand a lun to the max size it says the storage system volume does not have enough space to expand the disk to the size enterred. enter a valid disk size.
any idea?

when i do df -h
it shows
/vol/iscsi/ 4915MB 4825MB 89MB 98% /vol/iscsi/
why does it stil have 98MB Free? I maxed the partition out already with snapdrive
The ONTAP maximum file limits is lesser than the maximum possible number of files supported by ONTAP for a volume. This video explains the reason why ONTAP has this lower limit on the file count.
