storage-adapter-get-adapter-info exits with "not well-formed (invalid token)"

Hi,

I used storage-adapter-get-adapter-info from SDK 3.0R1 against a simulator NetApp Release 7.3. This results in an error, probably due to some not well encoded string at <vendor>???H???@</vendor><part-number>r1????</part-number>.

Any idea, how to get around this problem and where to start to correct it?
