Hello,

In documentation for out E2860 i can see that we have options for SSD caching. Are there other caching options like Flash Cache via PCI or other connection or SSD Caching is only options for this controller?

Thank you,

Martin

Hi,

For any hardware related queries, we ususally rely on hwu.netapp.com. And I am afraid, PAM (Flash-chace) do not apply to E-SERIES according to hwu site.

Once you are logged into hwu site:
Under Menu:
Under Adapters
1) Search by OS and Model
2) You have options : FAS/AFF/E-SERIES/ETC
3) For E-SERIES : Adapter section do not show 'PAM', however for FAS, depending upon the Model and OS, it does show the PAM.

I think E-SERIES only supports SSD Cache pooling but no PCI-e card.

For SSD cache size:

Thanks!
