I think you may have to call NetApp support. There is a INTERNAL kb that may be the way out.

I am from the E-Series team. I confirm that you will need to contact NetApp Support to reset the password like Ontapforrum mentions.
The ONTAP maximum file limits is lesser than the maximum possible number of files supported by ONTAP for a volume. This video explains the reason why ONTAP has this lower limit on the file count.
