Hi, should this drive work on our FAS270c?

HP 300GB, 10K RPM, FC 40 pin, 2Gbit drives. The HP model number is BD30058232. The HP part number is 359461-007. The factory part number is 9X1004-144.

They also have the part number ST3300007FC, which looks like Seagate.
Attached is a picture.
thanks
Peter

The short answer is - no, a non-NetApp drive won't work in a NetApp array.

The model could be the same, yet disks from NetApp have custom firmware on them & the array will reject any 'generic' disk.

Radek
