Windows 2012 Hyper-V and LUN type

Hi,

What LUN type should be selected when creating a LUN for w2k12 with Hyper-V role enabled,

I read that starting from DOT 8.1.1 windows 2012 is supported and LUN type should be Windows_2008 , will it be the same case if hyper-v role is enabled and the LUN is intended to be used for VHD(X)?

DOT 8.1.1 Documentations state the below , "nothing mentioned for win2012 in (hyper_v)  type"

Use if your host operating system is Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2012; both MBR and GPT partitioning methods are supported.

hyper_v

Use if you are using Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V and your LUNs contain virtual hard disks (VHDs).

Just checked the support matrix, you should be good to go, just choose 2008 per the documentation.

I have checked the support matrix and it does not mention the LUN type, can you please clarify ?
