Effective December 3, NetApp adopts Microsoft’s Business-to-Customer (B2C) identity management to simplify and provide secure access to NetApp resources.
For accounts that did not pre-register (prior to Dec 3), access to your NetApp data may take up to 1 hour as your legacy NSS ID is synchronized to the new B2C identity.

If you are interested in learning more about ONTP 9 here are two good resources:

In addition, we will be updating our existing training for ONTAP 9 functionality in Fall/Winter 2017.  Check here for updates.

Finally, the following is from our Certification team related to ONTAP certifications:

  • NetApp certifications are not release specific. Current certifications remain relevant and applicable to partner compliance requirements.
  • If you are currently certified, there is no need to recertify before your current certification expiration date.
  • As part of our regular exam update process, the NetApp Certification exams will be updated to incorporate ONTAP 9 features and functionality after the underlying courseware is developed and released.
  • Exam release dates are not confirmed, but they are estimated to be in December 2016
