Guys
In our environment we have provided SAN storage from EMC for a particular server.
In this scenario, is it possible to provide SAN storage from Netapp to the same server where EMC storage is already provided?
If yes, kindly let me know the procedure to follow. If not, kindly provide the reason.
Thanks
Senthil

You didn't provide enough details such as protocol (Fibre Channel?), OS type of server, etc., but in general the answer would be yes it's possible. We migrated our data contained in unix, OpenVMS, and Windows hosts, from EMC Symmetrix to NetApp FAS by mapping NetApp FC luns to the hosts which were already using EMC luns. I'd say be careful about the lun id's and make sure they are unique. HTH.
