Data ONTAP 8.0.2P6 NT4 Domain no longer works correctly

We just migrated our FAS6080 from Ontap 7.3.5 to 8.0.2P6 and we have problems.

We always use a NT4 domain ...

The command wcc -s <username> answers "Invalid name"

The windows to unix mapping no longer works

There are delays on the CIFS access !

Someone had the same problem ?

Many thanks

Since end of 2004 Microsoft do not support NT4 anymore, i do not expect any vendor to fix/implement "old" source code for NT4. You can try to open a support case at the NetApp support, maybe they find a workaround or even fix it.

good luck!

Marco

Thanks Marco .

A support case is opened and NetApp engineers are working on it.

Hi,

What's the case ID for this one? Thx Oliver

Sorry Oliver, I don't have the case ID.

The response of the support is that since version 8.0.2P1 code was changed

and it no longer works properly with NT4.

Did you revert ontap back to 7.3.5?
