Mandatory/ Roaming Profiles on SAN takes too long to process

We have configured user's home directory and profiles on SAN through VFiler  ( CIFS). The profiles takes huge time to load and even logoff its taking quite a while. Not able to figure out what is causing this issue. could some one help me in troubleshooting this.

Hi Sanji,

can you please run a "priv set diag; sysstat -M 1" during the times of long logon processes. Please run it for about 30 seconds and post the output here. Please post output of "version" here as well.

Hi,

How are you going with this? Are you keeping the desktop in the home directory? If user's have a really big profile with the desktop as well then loading and saving it takes time.
