Max open files

Is there anybody who knows the maximum number of open files on a fas3020 ?

We use a PLM software (Smarteam) which stores files on our FAS3020, and we noticed that a user can open more than 400 files ! (just open, but not really used). I'm just a little bit worried, because we have 40 PLM users.

Hi & welcome to the forums!

I've never came across a number of open files being an issue & don't think it could give you any trouble.

But with only 40 users which each have 400 open files should not be a problem at all.
