Maximum number of qtrees in a Flex Volume?

Client application mounts NFS filesystems, but is limited to 500MB filesystems...  They are looking at a total data storage requirement approaching 100TB.  Currently, they have quantity 60 qtrees of 500MB within a single Flex Volume, each with it's own corresponding NFS export.

Questions:

  1. What is the maximum number of qtrees in a Flex Volume  ( DOT 8.1 7-mode ).
  2. What is the maximum number of NFS exports ( DOT 8.1 7-mode ).

As for question 1, I did find the following link which mentions a limit of 4,995 qtrees per volume, but I'd rather get my answer from the NetApp community...

Thanks!

Rick

Yes 4,995 per volume. Look under "storage limits" in the ontap docs at https://library.netapp.com/ecmdocs/ECMP1114070/html/frameset.html

correction, client app limitation is 500GB per NFS mount, and potentially 136TB of total, so 272 qtrees/nfs exports.

I found https://kb.netapp.com/support/index?page=content&id=3011335 which states maximum of 10,240 nfs exports per filer/cluster, so we should be fine with NFS exports, just need to confirm the maximum qtrees per volume.
