NetApp SAN - Failover Test

Hello

From Node1 I have created few LUNs and presented to Windows host.

I did a takeover from Node2.

Now when i log back on to Windows host, i see all the LUNs are disappeared.

so how can i resolve this.. can some one give their views.

Have you installed Host Utilities Kit (HUK) on your Windows hosts?  HUK configures timeout values for your HBAs and iSCSI connections so that the hosts don't lose connectivity to the disk before the failover completes.

If your hosts are VMs, you'll need to have longer timeout settings than what HUK provides.  I believe 190 seconds is the standard timeout setting for VMs.
