Unique identifiers such as WWN, WWID or serial numbers changes when disk is transported to the client side. I am using NVMe/TCP connection for disk sharing. hello everyone i copy folders and files fron windows to netapp share (CIFS)  i use robocopy command with copy all, (i use this command alwayes and all the time he copy the permission without any problem)  all the folders and files are copy without problem but look like the permission are not copy completly  i try to put the permission manually, when i go the security tab at the folder on the netapp, he didnt give me any error'but when i close and open again the folder properties, there are no change at the permissions what can be the problem? thanks!   ... Hey. I have a FAS8200 system (2 nodes) with 2 quad SAS ports slots per node. In the system i have 4 stacks of IOM6 shelfs, so all of my SAS ports are taken, I want to install a new shelf to the system with an IOM12. Can I join two stacks (every stack with 4 shelfs) with aggregates on them without breaking them to free 4 ports for the new shelf? If so, what's the procedure to do it? Even with downtime. ... Hi  Here is a thing that our customer using NFSv3 by both linux clients and Win clients, and the chinese characters in wrong and messy show in screenshot. but if I create files by NFSv3 in linux clients and SMB in Win clients(the same client using NFSv3 both), the chinese characters is right. how to deal with this issue.
