Hi There,

Good Day.

This week we have issues on our linux server, the client NFS mount will be dismounted and cannot be manually mounted... NFS, host kernel: nfs: server filername not responding, still trying below are some of the detailed logs

Dec 11 04:56:56 clienthostname kernel: nfs: server filername.netapp.com not responding, still trying
Dec 11 09:08:57 clienthostname kernel: FS-Cache: netfs 'nfs' registered for caching
Dec 11 09:08:57 clienthostname rpc.idmapd[2040]: dirscancb: open(/var/lib/nfs/rpc_pipefs/nfs/clnt2): No such file or directory

And the bad thing is, it keeps on having problem almost every day... and it cant mount the server, so what we keep on doing it just to mount it is to reboot the server..

This happened to two of our servers.. We did not implement automounter on this systems..

Maybe somebody from this community also experience my problem and they already solve it..

Hope to hear from you..

thanks,

tons
