new OnTap versions...

Another newbie here... how do I move new versions of OnTap on to my v6040. I have no internet

access to the filer(s). I connect via hyperterminal on a PC where I have the software.

You can use CIFS/NFS or even ftp to upload the file to your system try connecting to address \\system\c$ over CIFS or mount system:\vol\vol0\etc with nfs if nothing works you can use any free ftp software and from console run "software download http:\\<ip address of ftp system>\filename" and it will by default download it to \etc\software directory.
